What is Cloud Computing ?

Cloud computing is the on-demanddelivery of IT resources overthe Internet with pay-as-you-go pricing. Instead of buying, owning, and maintainingphysical data centers and servers, you can access technology services, such ascomputing power, storage, and databases, on an as-needed basis from a cloudprovider like Amazon Web Services (AWS).

What is Data Center ?

AWS (Amazon Web Services) operates aglobal network of datacenters to provide cloud computing services. These data centers are distributedacross regions and availability zones to provide high availability and fault tolerance. Each data center contains thousands of servers, networking equipment, and storagedevices to support the AWS infrastructure. AWS data centers are designed with afocus on security, compliance, and environmental sustainability.Customers can choose the region and availability zone where their resources aredeployed to optimize performance and minimize latency.AWS has two data centers in India, It is in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

What is AWS Availability Zone ?

AWS Availability Zones arephysically separate datacenters within a region that are connected through a high-speed network. EachAvailability Zone is designed to be isolated from failures in other zones to providefault tolerance and high availability. AWS currently offers over 80 Availability Zonesacross 25 regions worldwide.
